In recent works I painstakingly erase the film by scratching away the tapes surface.
Erasing the films information (its dialogue and its imagery), transforms the film into a new format.
I store the videotapes ashes in a labelled container, which I regard as just as interesting to look
at and experience as the film itself, a sort of visual poem.
